 Objectives of the Community Policing

 To develop a sense of partnership by maintaining harmony between the citizens and the police and reducing the distance between the police and the people,

• To maintain peace and order in the society by preventing and controlling criminal activities in collaboration with both the citizens and the police,
• To identify problems within the community with the help of the community and take solutions with the help of the community as well,
• To create a prosperous society by doing creative works at the local level,
• To carry out local development works through proper mobilization of local resources,
• To work in the interest of senior citizens, women, children, and other backward classes,
• To conduct a public awareness campaign against crime and criminal activities by which the citizens can be mobilized automatically,
• To conduct programs on the initiative of the community to motivate women, children, and youth in creative activities,
• To establish the relationship between the police and the citizens by creating the feeling that the citizens are the police without uniforms and the police are the citizens with uniforms,
• To create a society free from the fear and terror caused by criminal activities by establishing the concept of rule of law,
