National security threats



The recent goodwill visits of president and prime minister to India and China have been constructive to bridge the growing gaps in the relationship between Nepal and her big neighbors. However, the issues of 1950 security treaty, Bhutanese refugee problems, Indo-Nepal border encroachment, and Tibetan refugee issues are still the bone-of-contention. These issues are potential threats to internal security and national security.
